ROSARY HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, NAVELIM- EDUCATING THE YOUTH WITH LOVE

In the words of Redden, “Education is the deliberate and systematic influence, exerted by the mature person upon the immature through instruction, discipline and harmonious development of physical, intellectual, aesthetic, social and spiritual powers of the human being according to individual and social needs and directed towards the union of the educated with his creator as the final end”. Every word of Redden comes alive at Rosary H.S.S., as in its portals each student is nurtured with tender love and complete dedication to draw out the best. The members of the teaching and non-teaching staff work, hand in hand with the management for a complete experience of ‘Quality Education’, which is not just academic excellence but also excellence in co-curricular activities, extra-curricular activities and sports; forming of disciplined students with focus on character building. 

Today the world is passing through rapid changes. In such a world, education cannot and should not resist change. Thus, the educational pot is boiling more violently today than ever before. The world is experiencing a revolutionary period in which the scientific study of man will be harnessed in man’s best interest. Education must play its part. It must accept the fact that a sweeping revision of educational practices is viable and inevitable. One of the most significant trends in today’s schools is the encouragement of creativity. Human advancement comes through original thought and invention, which can be fostered only through creative education. To this end, Rosary HSS awakens and develops whatever is unique and distinctive in every individual child, irrespective of psychological, physical or social differences. 

Rosary HSS endeavors to bring about impactful changes in the lives of its students. This distinctive and persuasive quality, character and atmosphere of the Institution speak volumes of the spirit in which Rosary Higher Secondary School stands. The Institution shines in a bright halo, positive vibrations and a patina which has a luminous radiation. Rosary Higher Secondary School is today the most sought after Higher Secondary School in the South of Goa. It is a dream of every student to study at Rosary’s and be a part of its culture. We thank our forbearers for their toil, support, co-operation collaboration, generosity and large heartedness which contributed in the rapid progress and growth of this prestigious Institution.
