On the occasion of World Earth Day, the Eco-Club of our School came together to celebrate not only our planet but also the small and meaningful choices that could be made to protect it. The Green Bites Battle was organised as a step in that direction, where creativity met sustainability.
The competition encouraged participants to explore the goodness of nature by preparing dishes using green ingredients as the hero ingredient. The focus was on creating fresh, healthy, and eco-friendly recipes. It was not just a cooking competition, but also an initiative that promoted mindful eating, reduced environmental impact, and helped students appreciate the richness of green-based ingredients.
The event also encouraged students to take a step forward and prepare a dish along with their parents. This strengthened parent-child bonding and motivated students to explore cooking while opening them to a new and practical dimension of learning.
The Green Bites Battle was a meaningful and enjoyable activity that inspired everyone to care for the environment through simple daily habits. The Eco-Club successfully conveyed the message of doing better for our planet—“one green bite at a time.”
