Chemistry Seminar

A one day Chemistry Seminar was held at Rosary HSS, Navelim on 20th August 2022, conducted by the Department of Chemistry, RHSS, on the topic ‘ Organic Chemistry – The Easy Way.’ It was an initiative taken by the management of Rosary HSS with an objective to make the teaching and learning of Organic Chemistry more interesting for students as well as the teacher.
The seminar was attended by students and Chemistry Teachers from various Higher Secondary Schools all over Goa.
The Resource Person for the day was Mrs. Maria P. G. Dias, an experienced and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher from Deepvihar HSS, Vasco. She highlighted on three tips for understanding and mastering Organic Chemistry in an easier way by – Learning to write structures correctly, Building a strong foundation of the knowledge / understanding of concepts and Focusing on Understanding not memorizing.
